Greetings Team Members! I’m finally back from Macedonia and Danie is back from Rocky Pointe so we can get the Supernatural fun and games started again.

This is a final reminder about our Design Contest. The entry deadline is July 10th, so if you meant to send us something and never got around to it, do it now! We know you guys are creative geniuses, now show us.

In other news, Comicon is just around the corner and although Danie and I won’t be there we know that Team Winchester will be. A few members have already contacted us about distributing materials. If you would like to do so also, either e-mail us or feel free to print off some things from the arsenal. Or, if being seen and not heard is more your style, you can also support Team Winchester and Supernatural by sporting some TW gear at the convention. I have personally done so at a number of conventions and it is just so cool to hear people saying, “Hey, Team Winchester is here.”

Finally, since this post is getting kind of long, I would like to thank everyone involved in the Kids Need to Read auction. The Season 1 of Supernatural autographed box set raised $200 to help buy books for children. We are so proud of our fanbase and we look forward to some more rocking charity work in the near future.

For those who are unaware this is only about a day left on the bidding for the Season 1 box set that we donated to Kids Need To Read so if you haven’t put in your bid yet better swing over to ebay! The link to the Box set is here at their ebay. We are so proud to say that the bidding has driven the donation to over triple the initial bidding price. However, we feel that everyone can do better so get over there!

Kids Need To Read

We also  thought we would give you the heads up that I (Danie)  am leaving for Rocky Point until Sunday and Ivy is currently in Macedonia at a dig so alas we will not be able to answer questions or check the website until I return.So, hold on to those questions until I return please.

For any who have visited our charity page, you can see that Kids Need to Read, a children’s literacy organization, is one of our official charities. Well, we are excited to announce our first charity auction contribution. We have donated a copy of Supernatural, Season 1, to KNTR that was signed by Eric Kripke, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Chad Lindberg, and Frederic Lane (Lehne) that will be available to bid upon starting June 1st. We hope that the auction of this item will bring in a lot of funds for KNTR to do more of their good work, getting books to kids. We encourage all of the members of Team Winchester to check out this auction and the rest of KNTR’s projects. You can access their website via our charity page. And remember, you don’t need to hunt things to save people.

Supernatural Season 3 will be available on Region 1 (U.S. and Canada) on September 2, 2008. Region 2 (Japan, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East) will be available on August 26, 2008.

Hey Team Members!

Danie and I recently re-launched the Team Winchester store. However, as many of you may have noticed, the designs are the same classic ones that we offered before. While we love these originals, we would also like to feature some new designs. Therefore, we have decided to have a design contest. We know that we have many talented people on our team and we feel this is a great opportunity for you people to show us your stuff. The winner of this contest will receive a $25 gift card to Zazzel.com, a T-shirt featuring their design, a pristine copy of Supernatural Season 1, still in the plastic wrapping, and The “Supernatural” Book of Monsters, Spirits, Demons and Ghouls by Alex Irvine. In addition, the winner of the contest will have their design featured on the Team Winchester sites.

Here’s the rules:

1)      Beware copyright infringement. Because we are manufacturing an item for sale, we have to be careful about stepping on some toes. Because of this, we cannot use any direct images from the show. Outlines are okay, such as the silhouettes used in previous designs. Quotes should also be okay.

2)      The design must have Team Winchester on it somewhere. You can either just use the words “Team Winchester” or the site address “teamwinchester.com.”

3)      Nothing offensive. We want designs that everyone can enjoy.

4)      You may submit more than one design, but please limit your submissions to a maximum of three.

5)      Please include a name (it may be a screenname for the submission process) and an e-mail address with your submission. We will use this information to contact our winner.

6)      To submit your entry, please send an e-mail to teamleader@teamwinchester.com with the words Design Contest as the e-mail subject title. Please submit your designs as a .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif. All entries must be submitted by July 10^th, 2008.

In other news, we’d also like to tell all of our Team Members who frequent livejournal.com about a new community celebrating one of our favorite actors, Chad Lindberg. Most of our members will know Chad better as Ash of Roadhouse fame and are probably looking forward to meeting him at the upcoming Creation conventions and EyeCon. Please take some time to visit this community and show Chad some love. And thanks to Lissie for making it just a little bit easier for us Chad fans to get together.

Thanks to Ginger for giving us the heads-up on this. Entertainment Weekly is taking nominations for the best chemistry on television. I think we can all agree that Jensen as Dean and Jared as Sam definitely rank up there. So, Team Members, let’s go over to EW and let them know!

Just checked my e-mail and it looks like the Salute to Supernatural in Chicago is down to its last ten gold seat tickets as of Monday. If you are planning on attending this convention, you may want to buy your tickets soon because it looks like they may be selling out. You can get them here.

Just a quick note to say that the message board is up thanks to the fantastic Babybluesteel who has been wonderfully helpful in reviving the Team Winchester website. Also, it has come to my attention that some Internet Explorer uses are having trouble viewing the site properly I am looking into this but I checked the site on my own IE and it worked as it should so I am a little stumped on the problem- my suggestion use Firefox. Quite frankly, I don’t know why people still surf with IE. If that isn’t an option make sure you are using the latest IE build it might help alleviate the problem. I have also installed a Coppermine gallery to store the arsenal but haven’t had a chance to upload any of the graphics yet. That is next on my list so look to early next week along with the Affiliates page.

Welcome, to the new Team Winchester website now powered by Wordpress. We are still working on making the move to a new server and the new site so please forgive the dust. Currently we are working hard to get back to 100% and The Forum is still down as we work hard to move it. Also, the affiliates page but don’t worry affiliates we still love you and as soon as we do some quick coding we will back to supporting you loud and proud. So, please have a little patience and we promise to work as fast as possible. Also, I am working hard to create a gallery to feature our arsenal which is currently unavailable but will be back soon.

In other news, we have re-launched the Team Winchester merchandise just in time for convention season. Be sure to pick up you TW Gear and show your support for the cause. The money from your purchases will go to help support Team Winchester.
